Sophia comes to Kingfisher FM with an honours degree in Business with associated Psychology (so watch out if you make a Freudian slip she'll be pouncing on it to analyse you!!) A wealth of Community experience includes working on a board of governors at a school for eight years, membership of a Lions Club (and no it isn't football or Rugby!! ask for more details on this one) also getting involved in local community issues through organisations like the Parish Council and her local Church.
Sophia also has a sound business background that includes market research (Yes that does include being one of those annoying people with a clipboard!!), HR, Training and sales. Being a 'people person', most of Sophia's work has been people orientated and she likes nothing more than interacting with the public.
Whilst she doesn't have a lot of radio work in her background, Sophia has been known to co-present shows from time to time (leaving the technical stuff to those who know what they are doing!) and is looking forward to producing interesting items for shows on Kingfisher FM as well as more co-presenting.
Sophia's fun side comes to the fore when she is indulging in one of her favourite past-times as a pyrotechnician with Fireworks International.
